Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person, married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes serving 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and overseeing budgeting/household reporting. Schedule initially involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Compensation per person is $44,768 with total couple compensation around $168,000, plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires experience with youth, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong integrity. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications; on-campus housing, meals, and benefits are provided.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
