Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Duties include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial placements to a steady home with the same student group. The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with eventual placement as a Houseparent in a dedicated home. Qualifications emphasize experience with youth, a legally married two-person couple age 27+, compliance with campus rules (no alcohol, smoke-free, weapon-free), a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, a high school diploma or GED, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
