Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes and can transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent student-home assignment; benefits include housing, meals on duty, insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be 27 or older, and complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
