Job Summary
Two-person married couple role serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. They reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, supervision of routines, administration of medications, transportation for activities, and active engagement in developmental and recreational activities for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and following a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off schedule, with eventual placement into a single student home. The role offers relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision benefits, and comprehensive on-site housing and meals; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year commitment for married couples, with at least two years of marriage for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes and participate in a 9-on/3-off schedule
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities for students
- Willingness to lead devotions and attend Sunday Chapel services
