Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to assess physical capabilities and limitations. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, exercise regimens, and educational interventions to alleviate pain and restore functional mobility. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting strategies based on individual responses, while assisting patients in selecting and fitting assistive devices. Provide guidance and training to patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, pain management techniques, and therapeutic modalities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices through continuous education opportunities. Schedule is Monday through Friday with flexibility to choose hours.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other computer software relevant to patient care documentation.
- Flexibility and adaptability in handling varying patient loads and treatment approaches.
Desired Qualifications
- While a minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred, we welcome applications from motivated new graduates seeking mentorship and growth in their careers.
- Prior experience in an outpatient setting will be a plus but is not a strict requirement.
