Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations for patients by reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting results to inform care plans. Design and implement individualized treatment protocols, adapting to patient conditions and the latest healthcare innovations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to adjust care plans, coordinate discharge needs, and ensure documentation reflects the therapy journey. Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations, maintain appointment schedules, and participate in clinic marketing initiatives. Foster a positive patient experience through flexibility, responsiveness, and engagement in community initiatives aimed at improving access to care.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, or the ability to obtain one
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
