Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients to develop tailored treatment plans addressing unique rehabilitation needs. Provide individualized therapy sessions combining manual techniques and exercise-based therapies to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain a manageable caseload while utilizing evidence-based interventions to improve range of motion, strength, and mobility. Educate patients on healthy lifestyle strategies and continuously monitor progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for outpatient populations including athletes, post-operative patients, and those with chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution
- Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Strong foundational knowledge and experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy practices, including manual therapy techniques
- Adept in developing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development in physical therapy practices
