Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine specific rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to ease pain and restore functional mobility. Track and document each patient's progress meticulously, noting responses to treatment and adjusting care protocols as necessary. Reassess and redefine treatment goals regularly to align with evolving patient needs and rehabilitation milestones. Educate patients, caregivers, and families on rehabilitation techniques, self-care strategies, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence. Stay informed on the latest advancements in the field by participating in training workshops and maintaining active memberships in professional organizations.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid State Physical Therapy License in Florida.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare team members.
- Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients from various backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently while remaining flexible and agile in adapting to the needs of the clinic and patients.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Experience working with a wide range of patient demographics and conditions.
