Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patient mobility, strength, and functional capacity to develop customized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy and exercise programs. Manage a patient load of one individual per hour while minimizing medication reliance through non-surgical alternatives. Educate patients on active participation in their rehabilitation and document all interactions with precision for compliance. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate care and continuously evaluate outcomes to adjust plans as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California
- No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license
- Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Experience in designing tailored exercise programs
- Familiarity with EMR software, such as WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree
- Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a varied patient demographic
- Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices and improving patient outcomes
