Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, then develop and implement customized treatment plans based on individual needs. Utilize manual therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic exercises to enhance recovery while monitoring progress through regular assessments to adjust plans as necessary. Communicate effectively with patients to educate them about conditions and treatment methods, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Document all interactions and treatment details accurately and timely in compliance with facility standards. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, primarily serving patients undergoing rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic mobility conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Active Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting preferred
- Experience with outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other documentation systems
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols
