Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Opportunity in Lake Huntington, NY

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and overall functionality through evidence-based practices. Conduct hands-on therapy, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to alleviate pain and promote wellness. Educate patients about body mechanics, exercise techniques, and create home exercise programs tailored to their recovery needs. Utilize various modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under professional supervision, to enhance patient recovery. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking key metrics like range of motion and functional improvements. Ensure the treatment areas are prepared and organized, maintaining equipment and supplies for seamless therapy sessions. Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and set mutual treatment goals. Provide emotional support, encouragement, and patient-centered care during rehabilitation to create a positive therapeutic environment. Adhere strictly to ethical standards and legal requirements, maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of all patient records.
