Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments to identify functional goals and limitations. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans based on evidence-based practices, administering hands-on treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities. Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to optimize recovery while maintaining accurate documentation. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care and educate patients on conditions and home exercise programs. Engage with community outreach initiatives to promote prevention and wellness programs. This full-time role in Estero, FL, offers standard hours of 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, with a flexible 4-day workweek option available.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain the license at the time of employment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Knowledge of current physical therapy practices, trends, and regulations
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a relevant healthcare setting
