Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations, then administer hands-on, evidence-based therapies focusing on restoring mobility and alleviating pain. Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and self-management education while treating one patient at a time per hour without tech assistance. Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting strategies based on evolving needs, and collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. Participate in a structured mentorship program led by a fellowship-trained therapist to enhance clinical skills. This role primarily serves adults recovering from orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements and sports injuries, within an outpatient setting in Yerington, NV.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Established rehabilitation protocols
