Job Summary
Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Deliver individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and advanced manual therapy strategies while maintaining a manageable caseload. Utilize EMR software, including WebPT, for documentation and educate patients on recovery strategies and wellness habits. Collaborate closely with occupational therapists and physicians to optimize treatment progress and adjust plans based on patient feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Possess an active, unblemished Physical Therapist license in Florida (FL).
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying a variety of manual therapy techniques.
- Ability to craft and implement effective therapeutic exercise programs tailored to patient-specific outcomes.
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.
- Must stay updated on the latest evidence-based physical therapy methods.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
- Experience with sports medicine rehabilitation and orthopedic cases.
