Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, crafting tailored treatment plans that address individual goals and health concerns. Provide individualized therapy sessions emphasizing mobility restoration, strength enhancement, and pain relief using evidence-based interventions. Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to sustainably improve their physical health. Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure quality care delivery, utilizing EMR software for detailed documentation. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, monitor patient progress regularly, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery pathways. Work onsite in Ashburn, VA, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia
- No history of sanctions or board actions
- Proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques
- A proven ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to foster trusting relationships with patients
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting
- Experience dealing with orthopedic and sports-related injuries
