Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and limitations, then implement evidence-based treatment methodologies including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Educate patients and families on recovery processes and self-management strategies while documenting progress in the integrated electronic health record system. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure a holistic approach to care for patients recovering from orthopedic issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a low-volume outpatient setting focused on personalized attention.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification
- Current and valid Physical Therapy license in Maryland
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting
- Experience with manual therapy techniques
- Experience with specialized rehabilitation protocols
