Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' needs for orthopedic physical therapy and formulate individualized treatment plans. Deliver patient-centered care by implementing effective treatment strategies in accordance with physician-generated care plans while engaging in thorough patient and family education regarding home exercise programs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, sharing vital information that supports comprehensive evaluations and treatments. This onsite role serves orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions. The position requires a Florida license, a Bachelor's or Master's degree, and three years of outpatient experience, with a salary range of $90,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- At least three years of experience in an outpatient setting
- Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to the needs of patients and their families
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Minimum of three years in an outpatient setting
