Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify functional limitations and set individualized, achievable goals. Develop and implement customized treatment plans aligned with specific rehabilitation needs. Educate patients and caregivers on at-home exercises and strategies while collaborating with physicians, PTAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in electronic health records. Work with a diverse demographic including athletes recovering from sports injuries and older adults managing chronic conditions. Submit a resume and cover letter detailing relevant experience and motivation.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited DPT/PT program
- Demonstrated effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills vital for patient interaction and collaboration with care teams
- A strong dedication to providing exceptional patient care and a willingness to engage in continuous professional development
