Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions across orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine areas. Utilize advanced techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and self-management education to facilitate recovery while maintaining accurate documentation aligned with regulatory standards. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through interdisciplinary communication, consult patients and caregivers on compliance with treatment protocols, and contribute to practice operations by meeting utilization goals. This full-time outpatient role is based in Greenwich, CT, offering a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 annually with performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably within an outpatient setting.
- Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in all interactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively engaging patients and colleagues.
- Proficient with word processing and various computer applications essential to patient management.
- A demonstrated ability to form trusting relationships with patients, inspiring them to exceed their functional goals.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to uplifting patient experiences.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications or training in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, or pediatric care.
