Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans, then implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance recovery and restore function. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, while providing patient education and training to clients and caregivers. Foster strong therapeutic relationships to motivate patients toward rehabilitation goals and maintain accurate documentation to track progress and treatment effectiveness. Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas that improve departmental processes and patient care strategies. Work Monday through Friday for 40 hours weekly in an outpatient setting serving diverse specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, certified by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
- Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in emergency situations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact successfully with patients and team members.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of word processing and documentation software.
