Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's specific diagnoses and goals. Utilize specialized therapeutic modalities and exercise techniques to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey, ensuring alignment with physician directives. Demonstrate outstanding customer service by building rapport with patients, addressing their concerns, and maintaining ongoing communication regarding treatment progress. Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and strive to meet utilization targets and business objectives. Provide home care services, applying therapeutic procedures and techniques to enhance patients' functional abilities according to individualized treatment plans. Engage with patients and their families, offering education and training to empower them throughout the healing process. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using our electronic health record (EHR) system. Work with diverse populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs in an outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting
- Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively connect with patients and their families
- Proficient in utilizing computer applications and electronic medical records for documentation and patient management
