Job Summary
Evaluate patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment programs and implement therapeutic interventions that promote recovery, reduce pain, and enhance physical functioning. Utilize advanced modalities to treat conditions including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries while maintaining thorough documentation of progress and outcomes. Consult with and educate patients and caregivers to empower them through the rehabilitation process, fostering a compassionate environment through excellent customer service and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in a supportive outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution
- current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- at least two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- valid CPR certification
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- basic computer and word processing skills
- genuine desire to build and nurture relationships with patients to support their functional recovery
- Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM
- full-time, 40-hour workweek
- onsite at our outpatient office in Boca Grande
