Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, review medical histories, and perform standardized assessments to establish personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Implement treatment protocols based on these evaluations while maintaining adaptability to adjust for patient progress or condition changes. Clearly communicate findings and objectives to patients and families, actively involving them in goal-setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, accurately document all interactions and progress notes, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Manage outpatient populations including athletes, seniors, and individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Maintain productivity expectations while pursuing continuing education and mentoring clinical students.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent, with a focus on evidence-based practice in rehabilitation
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of New Jersey
- Current American Heart Association's BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- At least 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on outpatient care
