Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations including patient history reviews and assessment performance to develop tailored treatment plans. Communicate findings and strategies to patients and families while implementing protocols that adjust based on feedback and ongoing assessments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to document changes in patient conditions and manage discharge planning and follow-up evaluations. Maintain an orderly schedule, participate in community outreach and hospital marketing initiatives, and adhere to regulations to exceed productivity expectations. Work primarily with diverse outpatient populations facing post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Physical Therapy license appropriate for the state of Virginia
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association as a BLS Healthcare Provider
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting
- Exposure to manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programs
