Job Summary
Assess and address each patient's unique objectives through effective communication and evaluation techniques. Manage an expected caseload of one patient at a time, designing and implementing comprehensive care plans using evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain. Utilize manual therapy and exercise protocols to enhance range of motion and strength, while encouraging healthy lifestyle habits and promoting non-surgical treatment options to reduce medication reliance. Document all patient care services meticulously and monitor treatment progress continuously. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within our state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot facility, focusing on outpatient orthopedic patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid DC (or relevant state) license as a Physical Therapist
- Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques
- Proven aptitude for creating and implementing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs
- Proficient in using WebPT EMR software for effective patient documentation and management
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a successful track record in patient rehabilitation
- Experience in developing and executing fitness and wellness programs for diverse patient demographics
