Job Summary
Direct and administer therapeutic treatment to clients based on evidence-based practices aimed at relieving pain, preventing disabilities, and restoring optimal function aligned with individual treatment plans. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using diagnostic tests, regularly assess home environments for strategic recommendations, and implement individual therapy programs including manual and non-manual exercises. Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective implementation of care protocols, while utilizing therapeutic modalities such as traction and massage. Document progress meticulously in clinical records, participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings, and foster effective communication with patients and families to educate them on therapy protocols and health maintenance. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. This onsite role in our Clearwater outpatient office supports a diverse patient population undergoing rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic illnesses within a concierge-style medical home care setting.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid Physical Therapist licensure in Florida, with a clean track record
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification
- A foundational experience of at least one year in a physical therapy role, with a focus on acute care or home care settings
- Demonstrated passion for clinical excellence and commitment to providing remarkable patient experiences
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members
- A proactive mindset and capability for independent decision-making in clinical scenarios
