Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions for orthopedic conditions and sports recovery. Monitor patient progress, adjust protocols as needed, and document all interactions using the WebPT electronic medical record system. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour while providing patient education on injury prevention and self-management. Collaborate with a small team of physical therapists and assistants to coordinate comprehensive care for patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or engaging in athletic rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active license and certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board inquiries
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques
- Passion for providing high-quality patient care
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Demonstrating familiarity with treatment protocols and patient management in this specialization
- Proven ability to develop and administer tailored exercise regimens suited to varying patient needs and recovery goals
- Experience with EMR systems, especially WebPT
