Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and design individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes while educating patients on rehabilitation processes and preventive strategies. Maintain accurate documentation for all care activities and actively participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Treat diverse populations including orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic cases across outpatient settings. Requires state licensure, BLS certification, and proficiency in electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- State licensure in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and computer applications for documentation and scheduling purposes
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- A genuine desire to build meaningful relationships with patients and caregivers to aid in surpassing functional rehabilitation goals
