Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine therapy needs and define treatment objectives. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to improve mobility and relieve pain. Monitor progress through regular assessments, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as necessary. Provide patient education on home exercises, assistive devices, and injury prevention strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Maintain current clinical knowledge by participating in continuing education workshops.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate degree
- A current state license in Physical Therapy
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records and other relevant computer software
- A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of patients and the facility
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role
