Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess range of motion, strength, and function, then develop individualized treatment plans utilizing exercise therapy, manual techniques, and innovative modalities. Implement stretching protocols and hands-on therapies to reduce pain and improve mobility while regularly monitoring progress to adjust plans as necessary. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and nurses to ensure comprehensive care. Perform these duties for post-operative and chronic mobility patients within our outpatient Tampa facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and record-keeping
- Flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse patient needs and situations
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience with outpatient therapy practices
