Job Summary
Provide individualized treatment plans for post-operative orthopedic patients, athletes, and those with chronic pain, ensuring effective progression toward rehabilitation goals. Oversee a reasonable patient load to foster trust and achieve optimal recovery results through hands-on therapy, exercise programming, and home exercise recommendations. Implement cost-effective, non-surgical treatment modalities while monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously using Web PT. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care plans and motivate patients through encouragement and support during their journey. Work onsite from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, in a supportive environment focused on advanced orthopedic treatment and non-surgical rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- An active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
- Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective exercise programs that cater to individual patient needs.
- Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to manage patient documentation and treatment records effectively.
- Strong foundation in current physical therapy techniques supported by research, ensuring best practice implementation.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly preferred, particularly with an orthopedic focus.
- Background working with sports injuries and a strong understanding of sports medicine principles.
