Job Summary
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain. Manage patient loads to ensure ample attention during rehabilitation while implementing cost-effective, non-surgical interventions that maximize mobility and function. Continually assess progress to adjust strategies, create fitness programs aligned with recovery goals, and document all encounters accurately in Web PT. Motivate patients through education and encouragement throughout their journey. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our Jacksonville outpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- An active and clean Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- Strong foundational knowledge of various manual therapy techniques
- Ability to design, implement, and modify exercise programs that promote patient recovery and overall health
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient management
- Extensive understanding of contemporary physical therapy methodologies supported by research
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Experience working with a wide variety of patient demographics, including athletes and active individuals
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with other healthcare professionals
