Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical condition and establish personalized treatment plans. Utilize therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and pain management education. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress notes. Provide education to patients and family members regarding self-care techniques and home exercise programs. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care. Continuously engage in professional development through workshops and training on evidence-based practices. Work with diverse populations including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer software relevant to patient documentation and healthcare data management
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment
- Minimum of two years of related experience
