Job Summary
Conduct individualized care for athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-surgery patients, and those managing chronic orthopedic conditions through thorough assessments and personalized treatment plans. Deliver one-on-one sessions utilizing a mix of manual therapy, exercise regimens, and patient education to improve functional mobility and reduce reliance on pharmaceutical interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss progress and continuously document treatment effects while adjusting strategies based on clinical observations. Maintain a caseload that ensures comprehensive attention to each patient's unique rehabilitation goals within a standard 9 am to 5 pm schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program
- Must hold an active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in California, free from any sanctions or board proceedings
- Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques
- Strong ability to develop successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Current and comprehensive knowledge of effective physical therapy practices supported by research
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Prior work experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Web PT for documentation and patient tracking
