Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans, then provide one-on-one therapy sessions with manageable loads. Implement orthopedic modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and technology to restore motion and function. Continuously monitor progress, adjust care plans, and document interactions in electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure multidisciplinary approaches while educating patients on lifestyle changes and exercise techniques. This role focuses on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation for athletes and individuals recovering from surgeries or chronic conditions, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team culture.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record free of sanctions or disciplinary actions
- Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise programming
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably Web PT, to maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions
- A strong foundation in evidence-based practices, with a commitment to ongoing education and skill development
