Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories and performing specialized assessments to determine personalized treatment plans. Implement and monitor treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, ensuring techniques align with evidence-based practices for orthopedic conditions. Maintain meticulous documentation of care activities, including progress notes and discharge summaries, while engaging in interdisciplinary consultations to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Guide rehabilitation activities for a diverse population recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, fostering open communication with patients and providers. Participate in facility meetings and ongoing training programs to support professional development and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current physical therapy license valid in the state of Florida, or eligibility for licensure
- American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrating a sound clinical skill set
