Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing targeted assessments, to identify conditions and inform treatment planning. Clearly communicate evaluation results, treatment plans, and rehabilitation goals to patients and their families, ensuring their active participation in the recovery process. Demonstrate proficient application of tailored interventions and therapeutic protocols, regularly adapting approaches based on patient progress and evolving healthcare standards. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to address patient needs and recognize when to modify treatment plans based on changes in condition. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including evaluation findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, contributing to clear communication within the care team. Manage time efficiently, ensuring productivity targets are met while maintaining a flexible schedule that accommodates patient needs and team meetings. Engage actively in professional development, pursuing continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, and mentoring students or junior staff as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey
- Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

- At least two years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings
