Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and performing mobility assessments. Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, modalities, and education while documenting progress with a multidisciplinary team. Engage patients and families to set attainable treatment goals and ensure comprehensive discharge planning with meticulous record-keeping. Exercise time management to meet productivity targets while engaging in marketing initiatives. Participate in departmental meetings to align clinical practices with accreditation standards and pursue continuous education opportunities. Work onsite in Abingdon, VA, Monday through Friday. Requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid Virginia license. Salary range $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with successful completion of a recognized physical therapy program
