Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, gather health histories, and implement tailored treatment protocols for individuals recovering from surgery, managing injuries, or dealing with chronic conditions. Communicate findings and strategies to patients and families while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to adjust care based on progress. Complete detailed documentation of evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, and actively promote access to care through scheduling flexibility. Work onsite Monday through Friday with weekends off, adhering to productivity expectations and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid physical therapy license as per the state regulations in Virginia
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient physical therapy settings
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
