Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint conditions, then direct physical therapy interventions to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore function. Administer manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage while fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices. Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants, ensure treatments align with protocols, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize care strategies. Maintain accurate clinical records compliant with OASIS standards and educate patients on adherence to therapy regimens. Work Monday through Friday in our outpatient office in Culpeper, Virginia, with a salary of $100,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
- Valid CPR certification
- An up-to-date driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and make quick decisions
