Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify specific needs and challenges. Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment programs based on best practices and patient goals. Apply therapeutic modalities including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training to facilitate recovery. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes in compliance with physician directives. Maintain excellent communication with patients and caregivers to provide education on treatment protocols and encourage active participation. Ensure minimum utilization goals and departmental objectives are met to support organizational success. Schedule is Monday through Friday in a state-of-the-art outpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- A valid state licensure in Physical Therapy for Florida
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer capabilities
- The capacity to build and maintain rapport with patients
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in physical therapy
- Experience preferably in an outpatient environment
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies
- A proven track record of successful patient interactions
