Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine unique needs and treatment goals. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing research-backed methodologies, adjusting as needed based on patient progress. Effectively demonstrate advanced manual therapy skills and facilitate group or individual therapy sessions for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related challenges. Maintain excellent communication with patients and caregivers while documenting all interactions in accordance with legal standards. Collaborate with occupational therapists and administrative staff to enhance treatment effectiveness and meet utilization goals. Submit a CV and cover letter detailing interest in this position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- Valid State License in Physical Therapy
- current CPR certification
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- basic computer skills for documentation and billing processes
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with a variety of patient populations
