Job Summary
Deliver personalized treatment plans and manage a balanced patient load to ensure thorough assessments and quality time with each client. Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop effective therapy techniques, employing evidence-based interventions that enhance motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on surgical options. Craft comprehensive care plans integrating various rehabilitation methodologies and create tailored fitness programs specific to each patient's lifestyle. Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining precise documentation using EMR software like Web PT. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic approaches, encouraging patient engagement throughout recovery. Work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, guiding athletes and individuals with chronic pain or post-surgical needs through their rehabilitation journey.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active and valid Physical Therapist license in Washington, D.C.
- No history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Mastery of manual therapy techniques
- Proven ability to design effective exercise programs
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT
- Strong knowledge base in contemporary physical therapy practices informed by the latest research
