Job Summary
Deliver personalized treatment plans and manage a balanced patient load through thorough assessments and quality time with each client. Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement effective therapy techniques, employing evidence-based interventions that focus on enhancing motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on surgical options and medications. Craft comprehensive care plans integrating various rehabilitation methodologies, create tailored fitness and wellness programs, and conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment as necessary. Maintain precise documentation using Web PT EMR software and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic patient outcomes. Work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, guiding diverse populations from athletes to chronic pain patients through recovery in our state-of-the-art Washington, D.C. facility.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active and valid Physical Therapist license in Washington, D.C., with no history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Demonstrated mastery of manual therapy techniques
- Proven ability to design effective exercise programs
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT
- Strong knowledge base in contemporary physical therapy practices informed by the latest research
