Job Summary
Evaluate patients referred by physicians and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Implement therapeutic interventions and utilize advanced modalities to achieve functional improvements consistent with the physician's plan of care. Document patient progress meticulously, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education on injury prevention and rehabilitation protocols. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and share best practices while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills. Work Monday through Friday for a standard 40-hour shift in our outpatient office in Woodbridge, VA.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in word processing and basic computer applications
- A commitment to building and nurturing relationships with patients and the community
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
