Job Summary

Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients and design personalized treatment programs based on physician referrals. Utilize evidence-based techniques to treat orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric concerns, and sports-related ailments through one-on-one therapy sessions. Provide educational guidance to patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care strategies while monitoring progress to adjust care as necessary. Uphold high standards of customer service and meet established utilization goals to contribute to the clinic's operational objectives. This role serves a diverse outpatient population including surgical recoveries, sports injuries, and chronic pain patients within a Fort Lauderdale-based practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current State License to practice physical therapy
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and word processing applications
  • A genuine desire to connect with patients and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapy solutions
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships within the community to support broader health initiatives
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on outpatient care
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of patient populations
  • Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based treatment protocols effectively
