Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical history, performing specialized assessments, and synthesizing information to create individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based protocols tailored to unique needs using modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and advanced rehabilitation techniques. Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding findings, collaboratively set treatment goals, and educate individuals on injury prevention and wellness practices. Regularly monitor patient progress, document outcomes meticulously, and adapt strategies to ensure optimal health results. Collaborate with chiropractors and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care, while participating in team meetings to continuously improve treatment methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients and their families
