Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing medical histories and implementing specific assessments to determine patients' physical abilities. Clearly articulate findings and collaboratively develop treatment plans with patients and families, ensuring their involvement in setting realistic recovery goals. Implement tailored treatment protocols utilizing evidence-based practices, monitor progress meticulously, and adjust rehabilitation strategies based on observable outcomes. Consult with other healthcare professionals regularly to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, and educate patients on their conditions and the importance of compliance. Work onsite at our rehabilitation center, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, from Mondays through Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families
- Commitment to professional ethics and continuing education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an outpatient setting
- Experience in the areas of rehabilitation therapy and orthopedic management
- Familiarity with utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems
