Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations including medical history reviews, physical functioning assessments, and diagnostic tests to determine patient needs. Develop and explain individualized treatment plans to patients and families, then implement therapeutic interventions based on evaluation findings and best practice standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize care and integrate diverse treatment modalities. Document all patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes meticulously to comply with healthcare regulations. Engage with a diverse population ranging from children to seniors, addressing unique recovery goals to improve mobility and alleviate pain. Work onsite in a collaborative atmosphere Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Demonstration of empathy, patience, and a thorough understanding of patient-centered care principles

- Prior experience in an outpatient setting
