Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine physical therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing unique goals and challenges using a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities. Provide patient education on treatment protocols, encourage active participation in recovery, and document all interactions accurately in compliance with clinic policies. Foster relationships with patients across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties to ensure a supportive atmosphere. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and engage in case consultations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish strong rapport with patients and families.
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records and other necessary technology tools.
- A strong desire to connect positively with patients and contribute to their recovery journey.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with a variety of treatment modalities and techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain management will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
